Ashtavinayak Darshan

After coming back from Dharwad we planned for Ashtavinayak trip. We decided to explore on our own rather than booking a cab. First day of the trip was the best one because Mohan mama accompanied us and we covered 4 vinayakas. We had seen the map and planned accoringly. We went in this order Chintamani of Theur, Moreshwar of Moregaon, Siddhivinayak of siddhtek, Mahaganapathi Ranjangaon and were back in Pune by 9:00 P.M. We got good darshan everywhere there were no queues and we spent some time in every place we never rushed.

We played Ganapati aartis in the car with full volume when Puju tried to sleep. Worst part of the road is from Siddhtek to Ranjangaon. This is only part of the journey that is not connected to any highway.

Second day we went to Mahad, this was very quick you have to take khopoli exit on the Pune mumbai expressway. Then came the worst part, according to map we had seen a highway connecting mahad to pali via Pen, pen is the name of the town. There was one more shortcut but map had marked it as a small road so we ignored it thinking we can go quickly on the highway. The whole stretch of highway was under repair, the maximum speed we touched was 30KMPH I think. Thats why when in India behave like an Indian, ask people 10 times, do not just go by maps and websites. The other road (small one in the map) was 100 times better than this. We visited Pali and we were lucky to have quite a peaceful darshan here also. Then we had our lunch on the way. Pooja had got up early and prepared this lunch.

Third day we went to Lenyadri ganapati, it looks like a steep climb (286 steps) but I managed to climb it easily while Pooja And Archana climbed it by carrying Viha and Saanvi. We then went to Ozhar and returned to Pune.
